You may be eligible to participate in a clinical
research study to test the safety and effectiveness
of an investigational medication, which is taken by
mouth, in people who have been recently diagnosed
with post-shingles pain, also called post-herpetic
neuralgia, or “PHN.”
- Are at least 18 years old
- Have had a shingles outbreak with chronic pain
at the site for more than 6 months after the
appearance of the rash
Study participation lasts approximately 8 weeks and
requires approximately 8 visits to the study doctor.
All study-related office visits, study-related medical examinations,
and the investigational medication will
be provided
to qualified study participants at no cost.
